ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Stand Up Tall Project is an independent political initiative, which seeks out discussion, understanding and action on crime, its underlying causes and its coverage. The project aims to:
- Define and work towards new approaches to crime.
- Build a stronger sense of community amongst those involved in this area of work.
- Bridge the gulfs between Westminster, the media and local communities.
- Generate open and accessible discussion.
- Push forward new voices.

Gabe is a British political activist and writer. He previously worked as: a policy advisor at the Criminal Law Policy Unit, part of the Ministry of Justice, in association with the Home Office; a Communications Officer at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform; a strategic government relations executive at a leading public affairs and crisis management consultancy; and a fulltime animal and environment conservationist in South Africa.
